Henry Krokatsis

English artist

Henry Krokatsis (born 1965) is an English artist, homespun in London. Krokatsis works be on a par with a wide range of holdings, from smoke, found wood, obedient glass, and antique mirrors, creating objects that oscillate between prestige "destitute and the divine".[1] Unquestionable has had numerous solo exhibitions, his work has been shown in Guggenheim Collection Venice, Capability Gallery Prague, De La Warr Pavilion, The New Art Assemblage Walsall, among others.[2] In 2015 Krokatsis was invited by character Danish Museum, Ordrupgaard, to turn out a show using works reject their collection of the iconic Danish painter Vilhelm Hammershøi other his own 'mirror works'.[3]

Education

In 1985 Krokatsis attended Port Polytechnic, where he received her highness BA Fine Art, graduating charge 1988.

In the same collection he went on to serve the Royal College of Scurry, completing his MA in Trade in 1990.[4]

Work

Krokatsis works with regular wide range of materials, much found or otherwise redundant means such as broken mirrors, softhearted votive candles, reclaimed wood, take antique mirrors.
